Gold is the stuff, man

You don't want our gold, but you do want Monex's. Who is Monex? Sit back for a spell, then I'll tell, and then you can go to...heaven.

Let's be honest, folks: you've got a lot of options when it comes to places to buy silver, gold, and other precious metals and coins. Right? But there is only one Monex Deposit Company (MDC) that will do it the Monex Way, with personal delivery, or the arrangement of a convenient and safe sotrage option at one of the fine independent banks or depositories in thi great nation of ours.

It's been 30 years too. They've been doing this for 30 years. I'm not even that old, and I'm really good at what I do too, so you can imagine, just how awesome that is. They are the United States of America's (in North America) leaer in investments of the gold, silver and precious metal persuasion. Neat!

Let's talk about forms though. Silver and gold can be available in coin or ingot form if you want to invest in it. They can be pure bullion cast. They can be convenient in size and shape. They can be awesome, if you want them to, and believe they are.

I often get asked the question, "Do you think there is a better time than right now to buy silver/gold bullion?" And I always respond the exact same way, "No." This is the time. The demand on earth for silver far exceeds annual production. In fact, it's done this every single year and month since 1990. Well, at least year. There are above ground stockpiles of silver bullion that are really low, and shrinking. In fact, I don't even think you can call them stockpiles anymore. They are, like, just piles now.

Gold is even more popular than silver. It's been recognized for literally, and romantically, centuries as one of the absolutely coolest, and best way to preserve one's personal wealth and power of purchasing. It's unique. It's diverse. It's shiny. And ever since the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans did it, people took notice and decided that gold will be cool forever. Lupe Fiasco talks about it a lot, so that must make it the proverbal "ish."

If there were a better time for buying silver bullion, I don't know what it is. In fact, I just said that, earlier in this blog. Remember? If you didn't hear it before. Listen now. The U.S. government even buys it, because their silver hoard (tha they had around WWII) is gone, man. So buying silver bars is a good idea. And
American eagle gold coins are available in units of 10 one-ounce coins for personal delivery only. .9167 fine gold. Legal tender coin in the USA with a $50 face value. You cool with that? Then chew on this: they are also available for personal delivery in fractional sizes of ounce, ounce and 1/10 ounce, in units of 20 coins each.

Most analysts agree with all of the stuff I just typed about. Monex believes it too. That's why they pride themselves on having the best US silver coin prices and programs in the entire silver coin industry. Boo-yah.

They have a staff that is dedicated. More dedicated than a Lil Wayne mix tape. They are America’s best dealer with a convenient market and competitive precious metals prices.

LC? More like LC!

You heard the funny one about LC from that real show The Hills? Me too. It goes like this... Lauren Conrad walked the red carpet of her victorious fashion week debut on March 11 in Culver City, as she received a bouquet of flowers praising the Lauren Conrad Collection's first ever fashion show. Wearing a LBD from her line (Laura Dahl's Victoria Dress in Noir and Prarie New York's Strapless Silk Dress in Black are similar) with satin bow heels and some new hair extensions, LC accessorized with a few key feminine jewelry pieces, like a gold bangle (like Rachel Leigh's Snake Bangle in Gold) and a gold charm necklace (Maya Brenner Designs' The Charm-ing Necklace in Gold is similar).

Meanwhile, while the reception of Lauren's collection has been mixed (from raves to well, less than), the show drummed up of course the expected quotient of MTV-related drama. All of Lauren's closest buddies attented, like Whitney, Lo and Audrina, as well as former flame Stephen from "Laguna Beach" and Brody Jenner. Also noticeably present was Kristin Cavallari, Lauren's arch-nemesis back in her LB days. While the clothes were overall pretty vanilla, it's good to see that Lauren's making the most of her reality TV-related fame, and made her way to LA Fashion Week. That's good for her...but where is my blog-related fame? I want to go to Fashion Week and fuck the models just like everybody else. Come on, man.

Steve Martin married and stuff

I don't know if you heard this one yet... Well... Everyone's favorite on-screen Father of the Bride walked down the aisle this weekend to marry his longtime girlfriend, Anne Stringfield. The couple have been quietly dating since 2002. Anne is a journalist for Conde Nast publications like The New Yorker and Vogue. E! Online reports: "the ceremony took place at Martin's Los Angeles home, guests of the big day were not informed ahead of time that they would be witnessing a union and were told only that their presence was requested for an intimate dinner party at the comic's abode." Isn't that awesome? A surprise wedding! Good thing that nobody dressed down for that ish.
